The strength of German companies lies in their technically sound and innovative solutions in various areas, including the treatment of drinking water (e.g. filtration technology and desalination), sewage and sludge management, recycling management and energy recovery.

Used water is never wasted. Throughout the country, sewage effluents are treated according to the requirements of the relevant EU Directives and returned to the natural water cycle.
